Monthly Report - August 2025
Monthly Report - August 2025

TL;DR

  1. Major Milestones Achieved:

    • Deeploy v1 launched on mainnet with full web UI/UX for user-friendly container orchestration

    • Proof-of-AI (PoAI) went fully live with on-chain escrow system for secure AI job payments

    • Completed second cloud migration from AWS to Ratio1's decentralized platform

    • Two new decentralized applications deployed by partners on the network

  2. Developer Tools & Open Source:

    • Released RedMesh framework for distributed penetration testing

    • Introduced J33VES open-weight agents framework (piloted at partner Keysoft)

    • Pre-beta versions of AI-4-Everyone Creation Toolkit and LabelCraft data-labeling tool

  3. Community & Education:

    • Launched official TikTok channel with 30-second Ratio1 tutorials

    • Released first Ratio1 Courses including "Data Literacy for non-engineers"

August saw major platform upgrades and new community initiatives. We launched Deeploy v1 (complete API/UI/UX for on-chain container orchestration) and went live with Proof-of-AI (PoAI) (including its on-chain escrow for AI job payments) - closing our first full PoAI rollout. We also completed a second cloud migration onto Ratio1 and brought two new applications online on the network. In parallel, we released the RedMesh framework (an open-source pilot for distributed penetration testing) and kicked off several education initiatives: our official TikTok channel now offers bite-size Ratio1 tutorials, and we launched the first Ratio1 Courses (e.g. Data Literacy for non-engineers). Developer tools also advanced: we introduced J33VES, an open-weight agents framework  (with a first pilot deployed at our already existing partner Keysoft), and made progress on the AI-4-Everyone toolkit - rolling out pre-beta versions of the low-code Creation Toolkit application creation wizard and LabelCraft data-labeling tool.

Platform & Protocol Upgrades

In August we finalized major roadmap items (R1-301, R1-302, R1-342). Deeploy v1 was released on mainnet with a full web UI/UX, making container deployment on Ratio1 far more user-friendly (as planned in our August roadmap). Meanwhile, in conjunction with Deeploy, Proof-of-AI went fully live: our dual-consensus system now rewards AI compute work with R1 tokens while keeping job funds in stablecoin escrows. We deployed the on-chain PoAI escrow contracts so that consumer payments for AI jobs are already running and held securely on-chain until work completes each individual epoch. These upgrades complete the foundation for a cloud-native AI OS on Ratio1 - as noted in July, by August PoAI would be “fully live” and a second migrated app would be under our belt.

Cloud Migrations & App Deployments

August delivered on our promise to bring real-world workloads onto Ratio1. We finished a second cloud migration (R1-294), moving another enterprise application stack (previously on AWS) into our decentralized platform. This means two full “lift-and-shift” migrations are now complete (the first was announced in July). In addition, two new decentralized applications were deployed by partners on the network (complementing our early R1 Drive demo from July). These deployments validate the Ratio1 platform as a drop-in replacement for traditional cloud hosting while at the same time showcasing some of the decentralized/distributed features available cross-platform way beyond the Ratio1 python-native application. Finally, we partnered with Build21 and KeySoft (both fully migrated in July) as early testbeds, and KeySoft in particular leveraged J33VES for their MVP version of their Rapid Application Development system for financial application that now uses natural language for application creation, querying or just simple specialized and localized private agents.

Developer Ecosystem & Tools

We continued to expand our developer toolkit. RedMesh (R1-422) - a decentralized penetration-testing framework - was open-sourced and piloted on Ratio1, enabling distributed security scans across the network.

We also advanced our AI-for-everyone initiatives. The pre-beta of the AI-for-Everyone Creation Toolkit (a low-code app builder / R1-5) was presented, along with a demo mobile app. Likewise, the LabelCraft (R1-158) data-labeling tool entered pre-beta. These tools make it easier for non-technical users to build and manage ML projects on Ratio1, in line with our accessibility goals.

Community & Education

On the community side, we launched new channels to spread knowledge. Our official TikTok channel went live in August, offering 30-second “power-packed” video tutorials on using the Ratio1 protocol (covering topics from setting up nodes to Deeploy demos). We also kicked off the Ratio1 Courses series (R1-297): in July we released the first “Data Literacy” course for non-engineers, and in August continued adding content and support materials. These educational efforts - from bite-sized videos to structured courses - aim to broaden our audience and help everyone get started with decentralized AI.

Outlook

With these releases in hand, Ratio1 enters September with a fully operational PoAI system, a live Deeploy console, and a growing suite of developer and community tools. We’re on track to hit our next roadmap goals and continue building the AI-powered decentralized cloud ecosystem.
